was born and raised in the Deep South, Savannah, Georgia. His distinctive sound and style come from coastal Georgia, the land of Spanish moss, shrimp boats, and sweet peaches. His voice can evoke the home of Johnny Mercer and Conrad Aiken. He's a natural for soul and blues.

.: Years with Eric Culberson and the EROK Band
Before relocating to Toronto, Jimmy was the bass guitarist with Eric Culberson and the EROK Band. During that period, the group was consistently voted best live band in Savannah, and released two successful CDs on the Kingsnake label. Their recordings vaulted them into the category of national recording artists in the United States. Their music was used in Aaron Spelling's television mini-series, Savannah. Jimmy and this group toured extensively in Europe, the eastern United States, and Virgin Islands.
